Sustainability and seasonality go hand in hand. To capture the beauty of the season is to embrace the abundance nature has to offer without the excessive water, heat and chemicals needed to supply year round flowers. Organically grown flowers and seasonally foraged treasures will always be more vibrant, scented and delightfully surprising than commercial stems that prioritise uniformity above all else.

When considering if the flowers are sustainable there are many things to explore. How does importing flowers globally in refrigerated containers effect their carbon footprint? Are growers using practices which deplete soil health and are their staff given fair conditions and safe environments in which to work? If farms are using chemicals to aid growth, what effect will that have on local pollinators and the people who are handling the blooms. Once these same flowers have been disposed of, how will these chemicals effect our delicate eco systems and soil health.

We pledge to never use floral foam. This single use plastic is used as a water source for  installations and creates microplastics that wreak havoc on the environment. Instead we create bespoke structures from natural and reusable materials, ensuring a design as unique and luxurious as your event, providing picture perfect moments.
